Ultra Trail 126 Km

126 Km Ultra Trail Program

Day – 1:
Arrival on Tuesday, November 4, to be cool and rested before the adventure.
Overnight in Oujda.

Practical info :

  • Return flights from 143 euros.
  • Hotels in Oujda near the airport from 23 euros per night.

Day 1:
Possibility of visiting the town of Oujda while waiting for the shuttles (see FAQ).
Departure of airport shuttles for the Bivouac at 12:00 or 16:00.
Installation at the Bivouac.
Medical, technical and administrative checks.
Briefing and race kit.
Welcome products.

Day 2:
Departure for the 32 km loop
Astronomical activities to discover the stars

Day 3:
Night departure for the 62 km Loop

Day 4:
Start of the 32 km loop
Awards ceremony and trophies
Traditional gala evening

Day 5:
Departure and transfer to Oujda airport

La Boucle de l’Étoile courses are marked, signposted and timed. It is impossible to get lost.
There are between 3 and 6 checkpoints and refreshment points positioned to be as close as possible to the participants.
Each checkpoint has medical and paramedical assistance, natural products and a systematic distribution of mineral water for the Trekkers, Trailers and Ultra Trailers.
The follow-up and safety of the Loop are ensured by the Staff of Guide de Haute Montage and the safety team.
An assistance vehicle follows the race in its entirety.

Solo (extra charge) or duo tents.
4 or 6-seater team tents.
Comfortable mattresses with sleeping bag, bag and inner sheet supplied.

Power supply :

Runners and Walkers: Breakfast, snack or Lunch Box for lunch and dinner.

Bivouac :

Restaurant tent, medical tent, race management tent, staff tent, media tent,
checkpoint and security tents.
Toilets, showers, water and electricity.
Telephone network.

Each category requires specific physical preparation and equipment to cope with the race conditions.

Ultra Trailers

Profile: Ultra Trailers are experienced athletes who have already taken part in long-distance events. They are looking for extreme challenges and have great endurance and effort management skills.

Distance: 126 km (32 km on first day, 62 km on second day, 32 km on third day).

Experience:

Several ultras and marathons to their credit.

Training :

Regular training plan.

Equipment:

Sturdy trail shoes, light bag, headlamp for night runs, breathable clothing suitable for hot weather.

Strategy:

Effort management on varied terrain, ability to maintain a steady pace over long periods, good hydration management.

Ultra Trailers

Profile: Ultra Trailers are experienced athletes who have already taken part in long-distance events. They are looking for extreme challenges and have great endurance and effort management skills.

Distance: 126 km (32 km on first day, 62 km on second day, 32 km on third day).

All the Boucles are different in terms of scenery and difficulty.

By the end of La Boucle de l’Étoile, the 126 km Ultra Trailers will have covered 32+62+32 km.
A distance equivalent to 3 marathons in 3 days.

These distances are given for guidance only and may be adjusted according to the type of terrain and the gradient of the routes.
